CECOM Contracting Center

Background

Challenge
During CECOM’s transition from its third successive expiration of contract management for Contract Operations, Office Operations Support, Technical Support Services, and Reporting the US Army was faced with selecting a delivery team to meet its stringent procurement and contract management requirements.

Solution
KOMPSYS provided the Contract Specialists and IT Specialists who were identified as key personnel under the CECOM contract.  Our administrative support services  include, but not limited to: coordination of Purchase Request and Commitment (PRC) documentation, preparation of contract documents and purchase orders, solicitations, contracts, contract modifications, delivery/task orders, task order closeout actions, file maintenance, records retention, storage support, and reporting of contractual data.  These services are in accordance with guidance set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS), and CECOM Contracting Center policies and procedures.

Result
KOMPSYS now provides the full compliment of office operations to include but not limited to: procurement, office reception, and telephone answering support. As a residual requirement, KOMPSYS also provides document management, including reproduction and scanning, mail receipt and distribution, correspondence, office supplies, and meeting assistance.
