QUALIFICATIONS
KOMPSYS Account Managers are responsible for the consultative selling of network design, systems integration, project management, on-site and off-site support services, computer and networking hardware and software solutions to specific vertical industry customers (small, medium and large businesses). To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty and responsibility independently. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
• Serve as primary sales representative delivering IT solutions during the course of B2B consultation and sales processes.
• Thorough understanding of infrastructure, applications, and the managed service environments
• Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of KOMPSYS' products and services.
• Build, manage and maintain strong business relationships with clients that result in ongoing revenue growth, long-term profitability, and long-term account retention.
• Establish relationships with clients and potential clients to meet the objectives of maximum profitability and growth through effective sales and services.
• Develop new customer contacts and enduring relationships with key contacts in designated accounts that drive sales of KOMPSYS’ products and services
• Identify opportunities, and qualify the business requirements as they relate to a KOMPSYS solution.
• Responsible for developing new professional services business within assigned territory. (Able to prospect and develop qualified opportunities, leading to closure of new business).
• Maintain current and accurate account information and contact information within customer database.
• Develop customer business cases, proposals, ROI modeling, and final contracts for presentation to C-Level executives.
• Ability to engage in consultative discovery process for conveying information to engineering staff for hardware and service proposals.
• Effectively negotiate questions, concerns, objections, and opportunities from prospects & clients.
• Successfully negotiate and close a qualified customer opportunity and secures signatures required for customer commitment within a predictable sales cycle.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Acumen for understanding information technology and its relationship to customers business needs
• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial approach, high energy and proven success in the development of new business opportunities.
• Aggressive, action-oriented, results-oriented, strong business case development and closing techniques.
• Effectively problem solves and exhibits the ability to identify and close all sales opportunities.
• Ability to manage 50-75 Customers/Clients with an employee base of small, medium and large business within various vertical market assignments.
• Creative and flexible listening skills capable of identifying and resolving customer, manufacturer, and KOMPSYS issues as they may arise.
• Experience with PCs & Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to be self sufficient and be coached.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, confident and tenacious.
• Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills.
• Challenged to consistently surpass sales quotas and client expectations.
BASIC SERVICE & PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
• MS Windows 2000 Professional/Server, Windows XP Workstation, Windows 2003 Server, & Exchange
• Cisco Routers, Switches, Servers, Firewalls, IP Phones, Unity, Call Manager, & Wireless devices
• Citrix & WYSE (Metaframe & Terminal Services)
• Telecom applications as they relate to business
• Conceptual Knowledge IP and LAN system interfaces
• CRM (Basis User Skills)
